He served for many years in senior command positions in the IDF and the Home Front Command, where he was responsible for coordination with government ministries, national infrastructures, and civilian volunteer frameworks during emergencies. He has extensive experience in medical and organizational management, including roles as Deputy CEO and head of divisions in major healthcare companies, as well as Director of the Operations Division at United Hatzalah. He has participated in international disaster relief missions, including in Haiti following the earthquake, and has led emergency medicine projects in Israel and abroad. His research focuses on healthcare utilization among older populations during the COVID-19 pandemic, and on social and medical factors influencing the use of healthcare services in times of crisis.
