Who is the program designed for?

The M.DM. program welcomes applicants from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds, including healthcare, public health, engineering, social sciences, business, education, humanitarian studies, law, media, environmental sciences, and security studies. Many of our students are professionals already working in government agencies, NGOs, hospitals, emergency services, municipalities, and the private sector.

How long is the program?

The regular track is a one-year, full-time master's program.

Students interested in conducting research may apply to transfer to the thesis track during their first year. The thesis track requires one additional academic year.

Is the program taught in English?

Yes. All courses are taught entirely in English.

Is the program full-time?

Yes. The M.DM. is a full-time academic program.

Classes are generally held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Do I need to live in Israel?

The Fall and Spring semesters are taught on campus at Tel Aviv University. The Summer semester is delivered online.

Can I study remotely?

Only the Summer semester is taught online.

The first two semesters require in-person attendance at Tel Aviv University.

What are the admission requirements?

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA equivalent to 80/100 (or 3.0/4.0).

Applicants whose applications meet the admission requirements will be invited to a personal interview.

Applicants from non-English-speaking countries may also be required to provide proof of English proficiency.

How do I apply?

Applications are submitted online through the Tel Aviv University application portal.

Applicants are required to complete the online application, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee.

Which documents are required?

Applicants are asked to submit:

  • Passport
  • Academic transcripts
  • Degree certificate 
  • CV
  • Personal statement
  • Proof of English proficiency (when applicable)

 

Is there an internship?

Yes.

Students may choose an internship as a 4-credit elective course. The internship provides practical experience and opportunities to expand professional networks.

Are scholarships available?

Limited scholarships are available for eligible students.

Scholarship decisions are made separately after admission and depend on available funding and the student's eligibility.
