An agronomist specializing in sustainable agriculture with a PhD from Tel Aviv University. His research focused on regional integrated pest management aimed at reducing pesticide use, and he leads projects in Israel and Africa to improve agro-ecological policy and sustainable agricultural management. Dr. Mendelson is a member of the Israeli Forum for Sustainable Agriculture and serves as a project manager at Engineers Without Borders – Israel, where he has led initiatives in Kenya and near Ukraine. In addition, he lectures in master’s programs at Tel Aviv University, the Porter School of Environmental Studies, and Shenkar College.
