Head of the Trauma Unit at Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, and a specialist in Emergency Surgery and Trauma. He completed a Fellowship in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, after previously completing his residency at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv. He is actively engaged in advancing emergency and trauma medicine in Israel, including developing and promoting advanced training courses, and is dedicated to instilling the values of life-saving care in times of crisis.
Founding Director of the Global Surgery Track at Wolfson, partnering with hospitals in East Africa to advance trauma care and create unique training opportunities for residents; and Co-Founding Director of Operating Together, a program dedicated to strengthening regional trauma systems.
