The Process

  • Students will participate in an internship in their organization of interest (NGOS, government institutions, etc.) and receive 4 academic credits, dependent on the successful completion of eight hours weekly during the first two semesters of the program.

  • We will coordinate the interview with the organization chosen by each student. If the chosen organization will not accept a student as an intern, we will coordinate another interview with the organization ranked by the student as a second choice, etc. The interviews will be conducted during September and October 2025.

  • The internship program will begin in the first week of the academic year (starting October 26th, 2025). Before the first week, a written agreement will be signed by the organization and the student, which will include a description of expectations, responsibilities, structure of the roles and responsibilities, as well as the main components of the relationship between them.

September

On September 4 at 16:00 (Israel time), an introductory meeting will be conducted with the internship program’s lecturer, Prof. Bruria Adini, and the internships’ coordinator, Ms. Carmela Dilettoso. During the meeting, you will also meet representatives of some of the NGO’s. The meeting will be conducted via Zoom (link will be shared via email).

Following the introductory meeting, you are requested to review the Internship Booklet that is available on the program’s website and inform us of your preferences concerning the organizations you would be interested in conducting the internship. Kindly rank three options, in line with your preferences, and explain the reasons for these preferences. This will enable us to facilitate an interview with your preferred organization. Acceptance as an intern at the organization of your choice is not automatic and has to be approved by that organization, following an interview.

To enable us to coordinate the interview with your chosen organization, please prepare:

A brief Bio (not longer than one page) A cover letter (explaining why you would like to intern with that specific organization) for each organization of preference.

During exam periods, students are expected to continue their internship; however, reduction of hours or makeup hours can be discussed with the supervisors.

Students will need to fill out an Excel sheet to log the work hours they fulfilled weekly, and send it to the program coordinator.
