EMPH - Public Policy tour to Jerusalem
As part of the studies in the public policy course a tour to Jerusalem was held yesterday The tour provided a chance to for the EMPH students to experience the most recent topics that engage the decision makers in Israel today. We have started the tour in a lookout point from neighborhood in east Jerusalem viewing the old city the Public Policy lecture Mr. Itamar Yaar that lead the tour gave a detailed review on the history and the public policy issues that evolves from the changes in regimes during the years and the clash within the religions in the city. Continuing to meeting with the director manager of planning and budgeting in the Internal Defense office debate was conducted with in this meeting about the ways of preparing an annual plan of the ministry. Afterward we made our way to the Israeli Parliament the Knesset  for a guided tour followed by the consideration and topics that been taking under consideration during this process​ debriefing and dissociation with the parliament comity of emergency equipment director in which the ways of operation, the revealed and more secretive operation are performed in emergencies and isaster periods, planning and execution we complete the day touring the old city sites like the west wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. dscussing the difficulties in managing the old city with all the elements combine reflecting on all the day’s event from the new street mall of Mamila located outside of the wall.
