Arielle Kaim is a researcher at the School of Public Health’s Department of Emergency Management & Disaster Medicine at Tel Aviv University, Israel. She successfully completed a Master of Public Health with honors (Summa Cum Laude), specializing in Emergency and Disaster Management at the same institution, and is currently completing her PhD. She has been selected as an Ariane De Rothschild Doctoral Fellow from the Edmond de Rothschild Fellowship. Prior to her studies at Tel Aviv University, Arielle completed her Bachelor's degree with honors (Cum Laude) from Boston University. Her primary research interests encompass various aspects of emergency preparedness and response, disaster medicine, disaster management, risk perceptions, and individual and community resilience. She is the author of over 30 full papers published in peer-reviewed, impacted journals and has presented her research at leading national and international conferences. Additionally, she serves as a senior consultant to the Israeli Ministry of Health and the European Commission and was previously a researcher at the Israel National Center for Trauma & Emergency Medicine Research, Gertner Institute of Epidemiology and Health Policy Research.
