Orientation to internship: Before beginning to intern, an explanation will be given explaining what work the student will be doing (responsibilities, hours etc..), relationships and interactions with new colleagues, expectations of the students and the organization, effective communication of all expectations and/or concerns. 

Three meetings will be held per semester (one meeting per month) for the intern to ask questions, facilitate orientation, monitor professional development, and provide a platform for debriefing and support. 

The end-of-semester meeting will be dedicated for students to share their experiences, concerns, new skills they have learned, take-home messages identified, insights into future endeavors etc.
