First Semester

Orientation to the internship: Before beginning to intern, a face-to-face meeting will be held on campus to discuss (with all interns together) the internship (responsibilities, hours etc.), relationships and interactions with new colleagues, expectations of the students and the organizations, effective communication of all expectations and/or concerns. 

Three meetings will be held per semester (one meeting per month) to support the interns, facilitate orientation, monitor professional development, and provide a platform for debriefing and support. 

The end-of-semester meeting will be dedicated to students sharing their experiences, concerns, new skills they have learned, take-home messages identified, insights into future endeavors, etc.
