Synergy Translate Initiative Announces 2026 Grant Recipients

Congratulations to the recipients of the 2026 Synergy Translate initiative grants.

The Synergy Translate initiative supports collaborative projects led jointly by clinical and preclinical researchers from the Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. The program aims to advance innovative translational research by fostering interdisciplinary collaborations that bridge basic science and clinical practice.

The 2026 funded projects are:

• Prof. Ido Fabian & Prof. Carmit Levy – The Retinal Pigmented Epithelium in Retinoblastoma: A New Factor in Cancer Development
• Prof. Raanan Raz & Prof. Guy Kleinmann – Sustainability of Intravitreal Injections at Sheba Medical Center
• Dr. Dan Dominissini, Prof. Josef Haik & Prof. Uri Ben-David – Gene-Edited Autologous Skin Grafts for JEB Therapy
• Prof. Dalit Ben Yosef, Prof. Liat Samuelov & Prof. Limor Landsman – iPSC-Based Drug Screening for Developing a Therapy for Netherton Syndrome
• Prof. Khitam Muhsen & Prof. Amos Adler – Molecular Profiling of H. pylori Antibiotic Resistance in Healthy Children from Diverse Ethnicities
