

Prof. Yaron Carmi
Short Bio
Over the last 20 years, I have studied the interactions between myeloid cells and T cells in the tumor microenvironment and the means to employ these understandings for cancer therapy.
I completed my Ph.D. studies summa cum laude, conducted a post-doctorate at Stanford University, and since 2016 I have led my own research group at Tel-Aviv University.
I co-authored over 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to six patent applications, and co-founded two Biotech companies. Additionally, I am a board member at the Israeli Society for Gene and Cell Therapy, and a consultant for several biotech companies.
