Women in Medicine (WIM) 4th cohort met to kick off this year’s events!

WIM is a program created for and by TAU's female medical students

23 April 2026

WIM is a program created for and by TAU's female medical students. Now in its fourth year, the participants come from different study programs and years. Together, they listen to lectures by female faculty members - all successful women in medicine and most of them renowned doctors in various fields - who share their own points of view on the unique challenges faced by women in the profession, accompanied by a wealth of knowledge acquired through their own personal experiences. Outside experts contribute as well, and topics covered include clinical research, entrepreneurship, and technology.

At the first meeting, Prof. Ronit Lubetzky, Director of the Department of Pediatrics at the Dana Children's Hospital at the TASMC, Full Professor at the Gray School of Medicine and head of the Faculty-Student Committee, talked about her experiences moving forward in her medical and academic career.

This year WIM is led by medical students Haya Habib, Galia Buchman Lubetzky, Hadar Barzam, Ofir Weil, and Maria Srour.
