Dr. Amit Vinograd, faculty member at the Gray School of Medical Sciences, Tel Aviv University and former postdoctoral fellow in the Anderson Lab at Caltech, was honored to participate in From Transcription Factors to Line Attractors: Celebrating 40 Years of the Anderson Lab at Caltech, a landmark symposium celebrating Professor David Anderson’s extraordinary scientific legacy and 70th birthday.

The event brought together an exceptional group of leading scientists and distinguished alumni, including Mark Schnitzer (Stanford), Pietro Perona (Caltech), Mark Zylka (UNC-Chapel Hill), Xinzhong Dong (Johns Hopkins), Ralph Adolphs (Caltech), Nirao Shah (Stanford), Weizhe Hong (UCLA), Dayu Lin (NYU), Scott Linderman (Stanford), Wulf Haubensak (Medical University of Vienna/IMP), Hidehiko Inagaki (Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience), Zhou-Feng Chen (Washington University in St. Louis), and Sean Morrison (UT Southwestern), as well as distinguished guests Peter Walter (UCSF), Michael Greenberg (Harvard Medical School), and Hongkui Zeng (Allen Institute).

Dr. Vinograd was invited to take part as a former member of the Anderson lab and now as a faculty member at Tel Aviv University, reflecting both his scientific ties to the lab and the enduring influence of its work on modern neuroscience
